I took the kids to Riverbanks Zoo this morning in their Easter clothes, and here are a few of my favorite shots! Their garden is a couple of weeks away from being in full bloom. The garden is always lovely, but it is absolutely breathtaking when everything is in bloom! Don’t think I won’t be there to catch it all!!!
Just after Christmas 2006, I did a session for a sweet couple and their newborn baby Gracie. Here she is:
This past weekend, we celebrated their newest addition, baby Corbett. Notice any resemblance?
Of course I just had to do some shots of “baby” Gracie. She is such a ham and a daddy’s girl! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a bond. They were absolutely precious to watch. At first she didn’t want to have a thing to do with me, but in the end she warmed up…a little. Such a dollbaby….
I am completely obsessed with color. Don’t get me wrong–I LOVE a good black and white photo, but I LOVE color. Will put some Weed-N-Feed down in the yard a few weeks ago and the grass is finally starting to grow. Spring is almost here!! So naturally I put Amelia in my new favorite outfit and turned her loose. The best part of these photos is that she had 103 fever, but I still managed to catch her in the 20 minutes she didn’t cry all of yesterday. OOOOO, look at that baby fat goodness!!
If you live in the Lafayette, Louisiana area, pick up a copy of Acadiana Moms magazine. A photo I took of Amelia is featured in the latest edition. If it gets posted online, I’ll post a link, but I’m not sure if it will. I’ll be heading down there in a few weeks. So when I get a copy, I’ll scan it in. Our first publication!!! Yipppeeeee!
